It was a joyous moment for the family of Kabuchai Mp James Mukwe Lusweti when the embattled Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ula paid him a visit at his Nairobi home.
Lusweti has been suffering for a while and had been admitted at Karen hospital in Nairobi.
The Bungoma senator later accompanied him for check up at Karen hospital.
Wetang’ula had checked on the legislator who is recovering at his home after he was discharged from hospital.
The law maker thanked Wetang’ula for sparing time from his busy schedule and to visit him and even accompanying him for check up.
“Am very happy for your visit, such positive gesture should be emulated by every leader, am happy that by you coming here, it cements our working relationship,” said Lusweti.
Wetang’ula stated that as the Ford Kenya party leader, it was his prerogative to visit his members.
Lusweti was airlifted to Nairobi for specialised treatment after he was overwhelmed by the disease.
He had been admitted at Bungoma West hospital in Kanduyi market before he was airlifted for spealised treatment at Karen hospital.
He had spent four days at the Bungoma West and was airlifted to Nairobi courtesy of the area senator who is also the Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ula.
