Former Kanduyi Mp Alfred Khang’ati had congratulated President Uhuru Kenyatta for appointing him into a plum job.
In his FB timeline post, Khang’ati the former internal ministry assistant minister said it was a nice move for him to be appointed into the intergovernmental technical relations committee for a period of six years.
Before his appointment on June 22, Khang’ati was a director with a Lake Victoria North Water Services.
“Am very happy for having been appointed into this plum job, I thank the head of state for considering me, I will work tirelessly in serving this country,” he said.
Khang’ati vied for Bungoma county gubernatorial race in 2017 but was defeated by the current governor Wycliffe Wangamati.
Khang’ati hails from Namwacha village in West Sang’alo ward, Kanduyi constituency.
